FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help us achieve LEED certification?
Yes, our design choices are LEED-aware and we can work alongside your certification consultant to meet specific credit requirements.
Does sustainable design cost more?
Some sustainable materials carry a premium, but many choices — like better daylighting and efficient HVAC sizing — actually reduce both upfront and running costs. We prioritise high-impact, cost-effective interventions first.
What sustainable materials do you typically use?
We favour low-VOC finishes, sustainably sourced wood, recycled content materials and locally sourced products where possible to also reduce transport emissions.
How much can sustainable design reduce energy costs?
Efficient lighting, HVAC and daylighting strategies commonly reduce operational energy costs by a meaningful margin over the life of the space — the exact number depends on the building and climate.
Is this only for new fit-outs, or can it apply to renovations?
Both — sustainable upgrades can be applied to an existing space renovation as well as a ground-up fit-out.
